WORLD MISSIONS

We are passionate about showing you who Jesus is.

Whether it is in our own city and neighbourhood or across the world.

We have strong links with Thailand, have been taking teams there for the past 10 years and have a full time missionary living Chiang Mai. Being part of a team is a life changing experience, it's an honour to be able to share the love God in practical ways and see the power of God change lives.

We are looking to develop our partnerships with other organisations and extend our teams into other nations.

Becky has been living and volunteering in Thailand for over 3 years and up until January 2018 she faithfully served alongside the Haven Project and House of Praise in Chiang Mai.

In February 2018 God opened up a new opportunity for Becky to join the communications team with Project Video, another charity based in Chiang Mai. Project Video is a major media initiative of Wycliffe Bible translators in Asia. It develops video production centers that proclaim the Gospel through video in targeted ethnic groups.

Project video develops ethnic media teams to create gospel movies in their own languages. They currently have 12 teams in China, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam. They are currently making gospel movies in over 80 languages reaching up to 20 million unreached people.

Emma moved to Thailand in June 2018 and begun volunteering with Christian Outreach Day Care Centre at House of Praise in Chiang Mai.

The day care centre has international  children from all over the world and has a fun, engaging and enthusiastic approach to learning, founded on Christian principles and provides wonderful potential for growth in the areas of academics, physical development, faith and social skills.

Their goal is to equip every child with the skills they need to reach their full potential. Each child is respected as an individual and encouraged to progress at their own rate.

During the school holidays Emma likes to head down to Mae Sot and work alongside MEC - Maesot Evangelical Church with Pastors Shine Lin and Hine Pai to help run Holiday English Schools for Burmese children/youth who used to live on the rubbish dump and are now at a boarding home. She also carries out work in the local community ministering to people who live on the dump, factory workers, mums and babies, visiting hospitals and handing out powdered milk, washing powder and hot meals made by church members. She has a heart for missions and is passionate about the great work and people in Mae Sot and loves to do this when she is not teaching in Day Care.
