Pastor Bernie and Nan McLaughlin have been married for 58 years. They have three children, all married, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren And all by the grace of God.

They have been in ministry since 1980. After planting their first church in South Africa which is still flourishing today, they obeyed God's call to return home to Scotland in 198 and to pioneer what is now The Bridge Church in Ayrshire. They are currently pioneering a branch church in the town of Ayr.

Since their return to Scotland in 1987 they have stayed true to the vision, to establish the church here in Scotland, to reach out to the people with a message of faith, hope and love and to minister to men, women and their families. They travel to churches world wide where they have shared on marriage and family. They do this with humour and give practical solutions that when applied can make for great marriages.

Nan is the author of the book, Woman in Transition, which is about the different phases women go through in life and how to work through change successfully. She also oversees Flourish Women Ministry based in Scotland. Bernie ministers to men through Repairers of the Breach mens ministry and is especially anointed in praying for the sick.
Their heart is to raise the standard for marriage and give people help and hope to succeed in their relationships.
