The Great Awakening Tour is not just another Christian Conference. This is a radical campaign to REACH a radical generation — to impact our community with the life-changing message of the Lord Jesus Christ. You may ask yourself the question, “Why here and why now?”
- God has put a passion in our heart to build His Kingdom. We do not want to build a church or a denomination. We want to plunder hell and populate the Kingdom of Heaven. We have an urgency to reach the lost and tell them about how much God loves them and has a wonderful plan for their lives.
- The time is short. The Bible says that the fields are white to harvest but the labourers are few. We want to train and equip labourers to allow them to take part in the final harvest before Jesus returns. It is the spark of God in all-living things that they reproduce themselves. As we allow God to train and change us, we reproduce the life He has put inside us in others we meet.
- Many precious people have been praying for God to touch our city and this nation. We believe that The Great Awakening Tour is an ANSWER to those prayers.
- Only Jesus can bring peace and forgiveness and change a life, a family, a neighbourhood, a city, and a nation!
Luke 14:23 – Then the master said to the servant, “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”
John 4:35 – Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!
Mark 16:15 – And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
We have a team who go into the streets of Swindon several times a week to share the gospel. We have heard so many wondersul testimonies of the power of God healing and touching people’s lives on the stresst of our city. Many have come into a personal relationship with Jesus and found a new life and fresh hope for their future.
