Romans 12:6a “in His grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things”

Don’t ever waste the life you’ve been given doing nothing with what you have.  There is so much inside of each one of us that God has planted in us to give.  Release the ability inside of you before it is too late.

• OTHERS

I am seeing thousands upon thousands of souls being won in my old home town right now, where nothing seemed to happen in years gone by.

Decisions being made.

Lives being healed

A city being changed.

Just because someone has released the potential inside of them.

Don’t rob :

• A family
• A church
• A city
• A person

of the treasure and amazing gifts buried deep within you.

Don’t let fear of failure prevent you doing the things God intended you to do.  You have the ability and if you are reading this now and saying. “Oh pastor Les, that isn’t me.  I can’t do anything.”

LOOK DEEPER  -  YES YOU CAN.

Hi, my history makers.  Go and change things today.  Climb beyond your limitations and do something

NUMBERS 13:30-31  “CALEB QUIETED THE PEOPLE BEFORE MOSES AND SAID, LET US GO UP AT ONCE AND POSSESS IT;  ‘WE ARE WELL ABLE TO CONQUER IT’ BUT HIS FELLOW SCOUTS SAID, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO GO UP AGAINST THE PEOPLE , FOR THEY ARE STRONGER THAN WE ARE.”

Satan seeks to divert the good things that are ours.

It is important that we are not lazy of full of excuses.

As the world is getting darker, WE AS THE CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD NEED TO GET LIGHTER.

This isn’t the time for us to make excuses.

If we have to wait until we feel like getting up in the morning most of the human race would stay in bed.

Same as the church if we wait until WE FEEL LIKE DOING ANYTHING the church will stay in the dark ages.

Each one of us has an invisible excuse bag.  We seem to carry it wherever we go.

God puts something on our heart to do that we really feel we maybe cannot do it, and we just reach into that excuse bag and draw out “I am afraid, I know I just cannot do it”.

Lots of things in life I have done just because I felt God has told me to.  If I had waited until I was not afraid I would still be waiting and not even in full time ministry.

Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you.  When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.  For I am the Lord your God.  Fear not for I am with you.”

When God has asked you to do something don’t whine and complain about it, DO IT.

The enemy will try and stop you doing it by telling you all sorts of rubbish. JUST DO IT.

Deuteronomy 1:8 “Behold I have set the land before you, go in and take possession of the land …..”

Say this:

“I WILL MAKE NO MORE EXCUSES, NO LONGER WILL I KEEP AN EXCUSE BAG, I WILL TAKE POSSESSION OF THE LAND WHETHER IT BE

• SICKNESS
• POVERTY
• BAD ATTITUDE
• TIREDNESS
• NEGATIVITY
• LACK OF CONFIDENCE
• “I CANT” IS NOT A PART OF MY VOCABULARY ANYMORE.

EZEKIEL 37:1-11 (Message) – ‘God grabbed me. God’s spirit took me up and sat me down in the middle of an open plain strewn with bones.  He led me around and among them, a lot of bones………………………………………very dry. He said “Son of man, can these bones live??            (In the middle of dryness God asked a faith question)

He said to me “Prophecy over these bones …………..”’

Last week I preached on speaking to the dry bones.

Dry bones of:

• Sickness,
• Poverty etc etc.

So we did, we prophesied over the dry bones in our life.

I encourage you today to don’t slip back into old habits and old thoughts and old thinking.  Keep your faith level up on the positive.  But above all don’t beat yourself up about the feelings you are experiencing.  Pick up the shield of faith and build your faith muscle.

If you have a bad report or you are feeling so let down in areas, or finances are low, do what you can and stay close to God.

Say “Yes I have a bad report…
BUT I AM GOING TO PUT THAT SHIELD OF FAITH UP AND STOP THE FIERY DARTS OF THE ENEMY.

God believes in you and He is no respecter of persons.

Stay close to God and let him bring down the kiss of heaven of your situation.

When I was believing God for my healing, I experienced lots of feelings, but just repented and moved right along.  It is not easy when you are feeling so low, but knowing God is there to do your bidding makes things a lot lighter.

Have a wonderful day and stay close to God this week, with the assurance that He WILL breath the breath of life into your situation.

MALACHI 4:2 – “BUT TO YOU WHO FEAR MY NAME THE SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS SHALL ARISE WITH HEALING IN HIS WINGS, AND YOU SHALL GO OUT AND GROW FAT LIKE STALL-FED CALVES”

We have to walk in the fear of God and we will never do that unless we lose the fear of man.  As long as you walk in shyness and timidity, (really the fear of man),it will separate you from the fear of God.

Always think of what God thinks of you – ask yourself “Have I been pleasing to God today?”

And you have to make the choice – “Will what I am doing or saying be pleasing in God’s sight?”

I was watching some of the ‘Britain’s got Talent’, and thinking if they had to put that up before the Queen, that it is so disrespectful it is surely not pleasing to her.  In the same way we can ask ourselves, “If God was standing right in front of me right now, would I do or say this?”

People say to me, oh but I just can’t.  You just CAN.  We have learnt about the authority we have in God.  We’ll use it in this case as well.

BIND THE SPIRIT OF FEAR.

1 Peter 3:10 “FOR LET HIM WHO WANTS TO ENJOY LIFE AND SEE GOOD DAYS (GOOD – WHETHER APPARENT OF NOT) KEEP HIS TONGUE FREE FROM EVIL AND HIS LIPS FROM GUILE (TREACHERY, DECEIT.)

A born again child of God has joy resident in his spirit.  It is possible however to poison that joy.  We can bless or we can curs.  Let’s keep blessing on our lips at all times.

JAMES 3:8-11 “….THE HUMAN TONGUE CAN BE TAMED BY NO MAN, IT IS RESLESS (UNDISCIPLINED, IRRECONCILABLE) EVIL, FULL OF DEADLY POISON.

WITH IT WE BLESS THE LORD AND FATHER, AND WITH IT WE CURSE MEN WHO WERE MADE IN GOD’S LIKENESS!

OUT OF THE SAME MOUTH COME FORTH BLESSING AND CURSING.   THESE THINGS, MY BRETHREN, OUGHT NOT TO BE SO.

DOES A FOUNTAIN SEND FORTH (SIMULTANEOUSLY) FROM THE SAME OPENING FRESH WATER AND BITTER”.

ALL OF US CAN BLESS OUR OWN LIVES AND BRING JOY.  BUT WE CAN, IN THE SAME WAY, BRING MISERY.

LETS MAKE A CHOICE TO BRING JOY TO OTHERS AND IN OUR OWN LIVES TODAY AND ALWAYS.

ROMANS 12:1-2 “And  so, dear brothers and sisters,  I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you, let them be a living sacrifice – the kind he will find acceptable.   This is truly the way to worship Him. 2. Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.   Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

While at the Cherish conference last week the last night I was impressed by an event they have on the last night.  It is called the night of honour, where they honour four ladies with a car or five star holidays of their choice.  They are ladies from the community.  The lady that won the brand new car had battled cancer and later lost her husband to cancer.  Then her two year old grandson got cancer and she prayed he would be healed but they lost him at the age of nine.  Her one daughter said that her mum had a bad time after that as she had believed God would heal the little boy only for them to lose him.

Then she said something that really stuck with me.  She said her mum could have gone away from God, but made a choice to keep serving Him with all her heart.  To do this and get over it, she went to some country (cant think where at this moment) and worked rescuing and nursing babies that had been thrown on rubbish dumps and down sewers etc.  She was one amazing lady.

I thought that is like us all – in life we have choices.

In life there comes a time when we have to do what Ephesians 6:13 says “If you have done all …….STAND”

DON’T ALLOW THE SEASONS IN YOUR LIFE THAT ARE CONFLICT-FREE TO LULL YOU INTO A FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY.

1 Peter 5:8 says “be vigilant…..the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour”

Begin to speak life over your life.

Get to the place in your life of making the choice of staying close to God in moments when you feel it is easier to throw your hands in the air, blame God and go back …..  to nothing.

Get under His influence, not the influence of your own negative hurt feelings.

Don’t get into the trap of the “If onlys”.  Let it go and like that lady that was honoured the other night make the choice, of staying close to God.

Find something to occupy that thought and move on with God.

JAMES 1:5-8 (LB) 
“IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT GOD WANTS YOU TO DO, ASK HIM, AND HE WILL GLADLY TELL YOU, FOR HE IS ALWAYS READY TO GIVE A BOUNTIFUL SUPPLY OF WISDOM TO ALL WHO ASK HIM, HE WILL NOT RESENT IT.
BUT WHEN YOU ASK HIM, BE SURE THAT YOU REALLY EXPECT HIM TO TELL YOU, FOR A DOUBTFUL MIND WILL BE AS UNSETTLED AS A WAVE OF THE SEA THAT IS DRIVEN AND TOSSED BY THE WIND; AND EVERY DECISION YOU THEN MAKE WILL BE UNCERTAIN, AS YOU TURN FIRST THIS WAY AND THEN THAT. IF YOU DON’T ASK WITH FAITH, DON’T EXPECT THE LORD TO GIVE YOU ANY SOLID ANSWER.”

There are two ways for us to handle any problem coming our way.

• The natural way
• The spiritually way

The above scripture tells us how to solve our problems the spiritual way.

When we have trouble – we simply have to ask God what we must do.

So many of us give up as we don’t get an immediate answer to what we must do.

We may not get that answer immediately.

But we will find the divine wisdom (wisdom far beyond our natural understanding).

That wisdom will be divine and be far above our natural understanding.

It will begin to operate through you, thus helping you know what to do.

So many give up when we don’t get an immediate answer.  This is when we must hang in there, KNOWING God will do what He says He will in his Word.

If you are going through a trial right now – Give it to God immediately and trust Him 100%.

CONFESSION

“I trust in You, Lord, with all of my heart and lean not to my own understanding.

In everything I do I acknowledge You, and You direct my paths.

I walk in the light of the Word of God.

Holy Spirit, you are my counsellor, teaching me to educate, train, and develop my human spirit.

The Word of God shall not depart out of my mouth.

I meditate day and night in the Word of God.

Therefore my way shall be prosperous, healthy and I shall have good success in my life.

I AM a doer of the Word and I WILL put Your Word first and foremost.
